I've heard of gripforce, but never met anyone who had a problem. Tell me something roughly how long do you give your clutch once it starts slipping? I'm not the most knowledgeable on transmission stuffs.

yo i went with ACT Stage 2 clutch and street light flywheel i love my set up. They have two different flywheels. Theres a lighter flywhell than the street light. My clutch catches right away and feels strong check out their selection. ACT- Advance Clutch Technology

Accord2nrz,
Once your clutch starts slipping the heat generated will start to glaze over your pressure plate, which means less grip which means more slipping, but mines been slipping on and off for six months. At 7psi boost I had no probs.
it started to slip at 9psi now at 10.25psi my tq. is beyond a stage 1 clutch. But even if your clutch slips you could baby it along for quite a while, unless your rear main seal is leaking.
I'am trying to stay away from the lighter flywheel because your RPM's drop to quickly between shifts, my goal is to keep the RPM's up between shifts so I can have my engine in its best TQ range.............................Thanks for everyones input.

I have a 9lb fidanza flywheel and wouldn't ever go back to a stocker. Makes the car more fun. It revs quicker, makes heel-toe shifts super easy (gas only requires a slight tap). The only "negative" is that you have to slip the clutch a slight bit more when starting off, but it's not really noticeable anymore. The RPMs don't drop too quickly between shifts IMO.

You guys getting light weight flywheels. do you drag racae if so the flywheel is hurting you. Lightweight flywheels are more for circuit racing to make shifting up and down easier. but for draging you want a slightly heavier flywheel so it can keep up your engine rpms using the rotating mass inetia <-- can't think how to word it.
