I am trying to figure out how to set the unit to autotune but cant figure out how to enable it. Any help is appreciated or if anyone has a basemap that you wouldn't mind sharing that would be awesome to. BTW the engine is a Redtop Sr20det with Z32 Maf, 550CC injectors, and a Garrett GT2871R. Thanks in advance.

Patience there grasshopper people here in the community have lives too ya know, I'm admining this site from Iraq right now. So lets start with any possible errors. What what happens when you try to auto tune? If your looking for a downloadable basemap i suggest you try the downloads section as well. Lets start with the autotune process first and narrow it down until we nail it ok?

Kinda useless post here, but sorry I don't have experience with the EMU.:D I barely have any with the EMB.

Sorry guys I am just getting frustrated. When I try to auto tune it doesn't do anything at all. I have set the parameters but it is not making any changes to the maps. From what I was told it should go in and basically set a base map based on the A/F values I entered in the A/F Target Map.

So you hit autotune and nothing happens? Curious. Can you log data and view the engine parameters as it's running in real time? If not then something is not right. check that then check you EMU settings ensuring that's taking data in from all the appropriate sensors. It requires more than just an AFR to autotune. it needs real data from the machine as it's running or generating sensor output to make adjustments.

i believe one of the options has to have your water temp, so it knows when to adjust your maps.

yep, I have done everything that it requires but it isn't adjusting the map like the instructions say it should.

ok, see if you can make minor corrections to the table manually and have them keep hold.

It will let me make the changes and keep them, it just will not let me autotune.

hmm well chris if that takes then I would go through your emu settings one more time. Is this the first install with the unit? and is your wideband hooked into the emu? I believe there also has to be some option enabled telling the emu to accept the input from the wideband.

Okay, I will double check everything again and report back. I could also upload the file so someone could double check the settings but it will not let me, it says that it is an invalid file type.

You can't upload it to the "Downloads" section? Hmmmmm................

I didn't try that because it is not a good map I just tried to attach it to the post. Would you like me to upload it to the downloads section so you can see what I have done?

I see what your saying. Makes sense. You would have to upload to a file host and then post a link.
You wanna email it do me at don96799@yahoo.com I can have that uploaded for someone to look at. I have the EMB, and I am not the best person to be looking at such things, but I have no prob uploading the file for you and linking it in this thread.

I had somewhat of a break through this morning. It seems as though the car runs better A/F ratios if I leave the 550's in but change the emu to where it thinks that the stock 370's are installed. Why would that be?

cause you're closer to the original size injectors. i have 565 injectors i run them at 350 correction.

Word! That is what I just came to realize in the "Injector Correction" thread by Accord.

Where is this injector correction thread? ive got questions about that. and along the lines of this thread, if i set my af target map affected ie injector duty cycle, water temp lower, it should be more active to tune the map, right?

You should be able to do a search for injector correction. But could you be a tad clearer on what your asking?
Are you tuning based on the a/f map?

no worries then. I would save your current gsc and then zero everything out and start from scratch to see what it does with OEM values. Go until it leans out then stop and start tuning from that point on up
