whats happenin. my names nate and im currently located in the heart of the south, jackson, mississippi. wasnt grown here just transplanted. anyway, im currently running my 93' twin cam 240sx coupe. bought the car for $400 a few years back with what you could call extreme engine knock. it sat for two years until i had time to figure out what to do with it. i bought a motor coming out of a hatch for an sr20 swap for $75 and rebuilt it. first time jumping into a motor of any sorts and was pleased to have it done in about 4 weeks. ran into a couple issues getting it running well, but (knock on wood) all thats been figured out. so far ive only put in a new intake as well as an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. i have a walbro 255 waiting to jump in the tank. ive just about got everything i need to slap my t3/t4 on it. just waiting on some injectors and some dyno time for my tune. my main goal in the build was to start autocrossing and from the looks of it, i may actually be able to start this month.
well...thats the bio. im liking the site, looks like we should be able to compile quite a bit of good info. i found this site actually looking into my emanage blue.

i have def. heard stories from people on both sides of the fence with the emanage. while planning my build, i set out with the goal to acheive about 250hp out of my 240 (stock 155). basically a reliable and fun car to drive. the ecu seemed to have the biggest price tag, turbo kit aside. but the more i tried to convince myself to get and ecu tuned by emance or jwt, the more i disliked the idea. im not knocking the work of either cause ive really heard only great things from both. just not so sure it was necessary for the build. if i was pushing for more hp then i could def. understand it. so..in came the emanage. and im ready to jump in and learn about the tuning side. i think im about to try to make myself a usb cable for the sucker. got mine second hand for a deal.
so yeah, i appreciate the welcome...and am looking forward to the growth of the forum. and for anyone with a 240sx, i think i have dealt with just about every issue my little ka could throw at me, and resolved it. so if your running into issues and need a second opinion feel free to ask. im not an automotive expert by any means...but i def. know my ka. haha

again, thanks for the welcome.
i have definately been fortunate and met a few people locally that have helped me along. whether it be deals on parts, or just advice. just hope i can pass it along. I'm def. a diy kind of person. never been too big on paying to have someone do something that im pretty sure i could do...and care alot more about doing it.
