Whats up peeps, i ran into this website while searching for some info. for my new toy(greddy emanage blue) for my sr20det. I'd love to get some info for this toy... Would it be safer for me to go and get it tuned for 500 bucks or try and do it myself with the emanage? Would i be able to get a copy of the software like by a torrent? or anybody?
NICE TO MEET YOU ALL PEEPS!!
p.s. well i own an s13 with a redtop sr20det so far i have an front mount intercooler, 3 inch exhaust, short shifter, 5 lug conversion with the z32 calipers and wheels, tein springs, and interior just the s14 seats...looks good so far...

Welcome. My turbo that I am retrofiting to my Tercel is from a S13 up in Canada.
There is software for tuning the Blue on this foru but you'd still need the appropriate cable--whether hacked or official.

Welcome to the forums! Our "Downloads" section contains all the files uploaded by users, to include maps, software, or anything else downloadable for other users. By listing your car in the garage and inputting your mods it's easier for us to help you without repeatedly asking you what your setup is.
As far as your question is concerned spending 500 bucks and getting it tuned by a professional is always a good thing in the short term but you have to make sure they are experienced in using the e-manage becuase i've come across some who turned me away becuase i use an emanage. Tuning it yourself is best in the long run, you may/will spend more money becuase your learning and teaching yourself but in the future you'll be able to do it. And the ability to tune a car is a very valuable commodity and also a perishable skill. If you have the money and the tuners are willing to do it, Apprentice them as they tune your car.
Again Welcome!

Sorry to thread jack, but what do you mean, Accord, it'll cost more to tune?

If you tune it yourself you have to buy the wideband , egt, and additional montioring tools. If you go to a shop you just pay the one timefee. ... plus if you need any specialty tools you have to buy those down the road too :)
