I came across this on another forum. The guy was comparing the AEM FI/C to the EMB.
"Totally independent fuel and timing corrections (unlike emanage blue)"
IS it true? If so, I thought I read something about the Gold having something about it that corrected that and allows the two to be tuned independently.

Without the ignition and injection harnesses then it's not independent, however once you have those harnesses installed then each aspect can be adjusted up and down independently.

the fic just tunes the fuel differently it lowers the injectors flow rate instead of adjusting the air flow. So the fic actually cuts for the injector pulse by 50% so if you have 250cc injectors stock the fic can run up to 500cc injectors where the e manage can add 50% of that 250cc so it can run 375cc. I have yet to see an fic for an obd1 car. and you have to realize that they aren't going to make the fic all that great because if they did no one would want the EMS
