anyone out there know where to find the gaskets for the tail end of the transfer case?:cool:

if you use vuze or some other program try to get a diagram or shop manual to actually get the term for the gasket then any auto parts store can order it. Or they should be able to pull the diagram for you and you can both stand there until you figure out what it is exactly.

i have alldata at work and have done extensive research and have yet to figure it out... im used to having rubber seals on transmissions but this is the first time that i have encounterd something like this and this is on my personal vehicle... you are able to remove the tailshaft but there is a lip that looks like a seal may go in... i am starting to get frustrated with this :mad:. please help :(

That's interesting. If it looks like a seal of some sort goes there then I would maybe start with using an extremely high temp silicon seal on it and see if that works. I know u can sub that for rubber but in ur case I dunno. I'm gonna do some googling and ask my eve buddies at work maybe one of them know.

Toyota Form In Place Gasket(FIPG) is good stuff man.
