So I got everything all wired up. Double checked it, and turned the key to the on positions. Both indicator lights stay lit. I then try to turn the car over and it does but no start.

I only now realized that both the support cable end that go to my laptop and my laptop have male ends(or is it female?) so I need an adapter that is female on both ends.

So I was not able to see what, if anything, was going on with the eManage when I power it up.

My question is, upon initial startup do I need to verify/alter some settings via the support tool software while connected to teh emanage before my car will even start or should it actually start if all is wired up correctly?

I am thinking I may have reversed the entire pinout wiring on my large ECU plug. I will double check everything again tommorrow, but in the meantime that question above please.

Thanks guys.

Update:
I came across a thread on another forum where a member stated that after connecting the Blue, the car will not start until logged onto with the emanage. Is that true? If so, Greddy should have just included the Support Tool with the EMB main unit.

My apologies guys, I opened it up and it appears as though I had 2 of these four jumpers on the wrong setting. It was actually the way I got it and never bothered to check it. I did adjust the dials though.

Anyways, Admins/Mods, you may delete this thread if you so choose. I don't want to clutter the fresh board with useless threads.

All is well.
