I just installed my ignition and injector harness and the car runs but it wont let me make any adjustments or even view my timing or injector duty. I double checked the wiring and jumper settings and everything seems fine. Its a 1991 Toyota supra non turbo 7mge. Any suggestions?

Make sure the ground wire on the injector harness is hooked up. If you add fuel in the current idle block on the additonal injection map, you should see your afr get richer, that is how you know if it is hooked up correctly. If there is no change make sure you have the injector ground wire hooked up properly (black and red if I believe.). You should be able to see your timing retard (the numbers you put in) in degrees if the map trace feature is being used on the ignition map. It can only trace whatever is in the block at your current rpm if the wires are installed correctly.

Shouldnt it show the injector duty cycle in the real time display box? The timing does nothing i have tried to change it and even checked it against my timing light. I rechecked the connections and wiring and everything seems like its supposed to be and still nothing. I will check the ground wires again tomorrow hopefully thats it.

Yes it should show the injector cycles in real time if you've got the support tool set to display it.

You can only retard timing on the ignition map and as long as the connections are right and the parameters are set correctly (pull up/pull down/12v/5v) it should work. I know the Nissan injectors take a ground signal to activate so my black and red is connected to ground. If your injectors take a positive signal to pulse then it needs to be connected to positive.
