setting scale for graddy sensor

Hello again, it's been a while since my last post and I've got some new questions to throw at you guys.

The turbo is now installed and everything is working good. Just yesterday I decided to switch the emb from throttle position scale to the greddy pressure sensor V scale and I need some help. The sensor V is installed and I think everything is set correctly in parameter settings, the only problem I'm having is that the scale for the injector and timing maps is way off. The map scale goes from .50 to 3.50 but when the car is running at idle it sits at 2.30-2.40 and the map trace only moves side to side until it hits boost then it will move downward and right but only until around 2.90 or so. Is there anyway to alter the scale to start at 2.30 and go up to say 5?

I'm currently running about 6 psi.

Yeah you can alter the scale. Right next to the drop down window where you selected "Greddy V" there's a button that says "Change Scale". Click it and you can change the voltage or RPM.

Hey D, thanks for replying!

I'm beginning to think the pressure sensor is faulty. It only reads in the 2.5-2.9 range even when idling. According to others i've talked to that voltage would be around 20psi! Something is definitely wrong there. :mad:

I need to get out the dmm and test that sucker.

Yeah, either that or a bad ground for the unit. My understanding is that a bad ground could do some funky stuff.

+1 for D's statement. A bad ground makes some crazy things happen.

Can you change it to another parameter to read or do you have to have the voltage reading? I'm using k/cm2 since you can find a chart to convert that to psi.

You should be able to select from voltage or PSI. I think?
