Greetings, I just bought a used EMB with no harnesses or instructions. I'm going to buy the ign and inj harnesses along with the support tool but I think there is another harness i'm missing? Anyone help me out or post a link to buy one?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums! Be sure to post an intro when you have the time. What type of car are you running your setup on? the ignition and injection harnesses are the main ones. Depending on your MAP or MAF setup you may need an additional map sensor or not. There are alot of addons for the emanage blue to give it more functionality based on the application.
I would say the ign and inj harnesses are a good start for you without more info.

I think you want the MAIN harness. I forget which is which but I think its the injector harness that in incorporated into the main harness. Your injector harness may only come with wires and pins and need to be plugged into the main harness. If that's what we're talking about.

Thanks guys, nice to meet all of you. I've got a 99 miata thats soon to be turbo'd. The emb is my first purchase and now i'm ready to get the ball rolling.
Like I said, I've got a blue box with nothing else and for the life of me I can't find any info on the main harness. If I bought it brand new, what would it come with?
I downloaded the manual from greddy and it lists a main harness in the contents, but I can't find one for sale anywhere. On ebay there is a ultimate main harness with three connectors (12pin, 18pin, 14pin) I believe the 18 pin is what I need?

no you need an emanage blue main harness, the injector harness addon and ignition harness are extra. go to www.addictiveracing.com (http://www.addictiveracing.com) to snatch up a harness.

hey accord, what about this? http://www.boomslang.us/emanage.htm
It's a bit more than the main, inj and ign cables seperately, but if it'll cover all three and I won't have to do any wiring maybe i'll buy this?
Will it cover everything I need to get it running besides the support tool? and if i'm running stock injectors, is the injector harness even needed or can I control fueling with just the main?
edit-I just found this website with really good prices on everything, check it out-monkeywrenchracing.com

the boomslang harness is a great option if you're wanting the whole shebang in one swift motion. It will have all the additional options minus the boost port and there's no cutting or soldering on your part. The only thing you have to make sure is that you buy the right harness becuase getting it refunded or replaced with them can be a hassle or so I've heard. Thanks for the monkeywrench link. When I get the links database built it will definitely be on there!
As for the support tool you can download the software and update here in our downloads section to include a possible ecu pinout diagram for your particular vehicle. the cable however you can outsource, giff-tech here on our forums sells them from his website at a reasonable discount to diytuning members.

Alright, everything is in the mail and should arrive in the next few days. I think I did pretty good.
used EMB with only the boost harness-$165
Main, injector and ignition harness new-$78
Support tool found here-free
DKU 5 diy cable-$4
innovate lc1 kit-$187
total for the management side of my turbo build-$434.00 I had originally budgeted $600.
I plan on adding a begi starter kit and an ebay IC to the mix once I get the emb set up.
It's gonna be a fun summer!:D

not bad. I would also suggest you purchase a knock lite. You can get one from TSX. Google tsx knock lite. they're about 100 beans but an integral component in tuning =)
You're definitely going to have fun this summer.
