I am getting ready to hook up my Emanage and I was wondering if the pin out in the manual is correct? I ask because they list the 4AGE in the MR2 as a MAP sensor and it is not. It is an AFM setup.

Thanks

I'm sure we can all agree that whomever translated the manual was off his rocker or something. I believe the pinouts to be correct becuase your airflow sensor should be going to the same pinout. a good way to test would be to use a volt meter and start your car. You should see an alternating voltage coming from that pinout.

If I'm not mistaken there were turbo charged MR2's that used MAP sensors and perhaps that's what they are referring too.

Guys the wiring diagram is not right at all. I just looked at the AE86 JDM diagram and it matches it so I can convert the majority of it to the MR2 harness. However the Air Flow Sensor has two different pin outs. With the MAP sensor there is only one.

How will I find out which one to use it one? I want to get this right.

I got to looking at other pin outs and found out that the two Air flow meter pin outs are different. The one VC is the voltage supply to the AFM. The other VS is the Airflow signal back. I am guessing that I need to tap into the signal coming back.

check the pinout diagrams we have in the downloads section. If that fails try hitting up plxdevices.com. That's where I outsourced all the ones we have. They may have updated a few of them

This sucks ass. I can not find the pin out nor can I find the proper jumper settings.

Does anyone know who I can contact?

Also I found out the 4AGE uses 9 volt AFM. Will the EMB even work with it?

head to greddy performance products website and contact their west coast representative and ask them. They're a bit more technically proficient than the other guys but not by much.

Well guys I have went as far as I can with the Emanage. It just will not work. The only thing I think I can do is hook up the Igntion harness and the Injector harness and control bandwidth but that only increases fuel. I need to curb some of it.

Sooooo........ It looks like I am going to have to sell the Emanage OR keep it and run it on my 08 xB with a spare turbo I have. I think it and a T3 60 trim would make for a fun little commuter.
