Dumb idea that will get around using the O2 clamp on NA car running FI.

This is just an idea and I wanted to see what you guys thought. As you know on a NA car that runs FI the stock ECU fights the EMB when you go into closed loop. So what I was wondering is if you remove the TPS (yes your car runs without it) it would put it in closed loop constantly so when you tune the car the it will be tuned in closed loop and then it will not fight it anymore.

I am aware that using a O2 clamp will do the same thing but I am curious what you guys think.

no idea is dumb i just missed it. I honestly have never given it much thought. I know the emb still works just fine even without the tps wire connected.

As far as I know its doable. I've not done it but know a member on here that has. He has since sold his EMB though.
