OK so I"m getting a motorcycle and they have these things called Power commanders I was wondering if anybody here has played with them. I have found some help on other websites also but I figured would ask my closest friends also maybe you guys have played with one or anything. The bike is a 2005 Kawasaki ZX-6r 636cc.

Thnks you guys are the greatest.

From what I understand of them they are like the bullydog programmers for trucks but can act like piggyback fuel management on the fly for motorcycles. Which version do you have? The power commander 3 has a self auto tune option would be good for a beginning tuner. Basically it looks like it alters your fuel and ignition curves to get more performance out of your bike.

After doing a few searches I found some dynojet commander maps that look rather interesting. Post up your specs of your bike, mods, and version of the commander you got. Keep us posted this is great news to expand the knowledge base with.

I haven't purchased anything yet. I plan on getting the PC III w/usb so I can attach a quick shift kit to it as well. I will definately post more when I get it all. I'll probably save up and get the programmer first since the exhaust kit is just over 1000 USD Full exhaust headers back. :)

I know little of bikes. They have "quick" shift kits? how much quicker can you get on those things?
