Help please? EManage software wont open/save files....

Just had the car dyno'd - so the EManage will communicate real time with my EMB, but anytime I try and save the tune data from the EMB, the software just closes. It does hard flash the tune to the EMB whioch is good, but I'd really like to get a back up.

The Emanage software won't even allow me to open an old GSC file - again - it just closes. Any suggestions?

I've tried reinstalling the software with the same result.

Latest version? Your unit firmware up to date as well? As I always like to suggest, at least try using another computer/laptop to communicate just to see if maybe there is some software conflict.

Well - apparently when you run the Support tool in Compatibility Mode in Windows XP, it will only work properly in Real Time Communication.

I took the Emanage softward back off compatibility mode, and voila, it happily downloaded and saved the new tune from the main unit, so I have my backup.
