I am trying to get my S13 convertible to run with an N60 maf, just curious if anyone might possibly know the settings in the Emanage I need to set to, I keep getting the "safe mode" and the car runs horribly.. -Thanks

What year S13? Go ahead and update your garage profile so people won't have to ask for your setup again later.
By safe mode I assume your meaning open loop? What maf sensor do you have selected under the emanage main settings window? You should not have your OEM maf selected, if so then when your going into boost the ecu is assuming the maf is overloaded and sending the car into open loop.
Also is your car obd 2 or 1 becuase being obd 2 makes it a tad more time consuming beating the obd to set the tune.

its a 1994 s13, but its a convertible so its still running OBD I, I just updated the garage as I started reading more on the forum, I don't have a consult cable as a "buddy" seems to have misplaced it during him moving out of town.... "safe mode" meaning yea, open loop, acts like there isn't one hooked up or under certain selections just runs like crap... looking at the Profec E0-1 it has NS_HW 1 through 11 and some other prefix that I dont currently remember, I know the N60 (stock maf off a V6 altima) needs to be something close to a 300zx but not the same selection, is there some master list which shows what each selection relates to? (Thanks again)
EDIT: Car is currently N/A for troubleshooting the new maf, AEM cold air intake and Headers, in order to remove confusion, this is simply to get the car RUNNING again with new MAF while turbo is upgraded...

There is a master manual that greddy produced sometime a year or two ago I will have to look around for it, but I will get on it.
Woot another 240 guy! what was the maf hotwire u put in? what size turbo how much boost and is anything done to the fuel system?

I was lookin around in the garage and noticed that.. Its an N60 MAF and I've tried setting the N62 settings and it ran but loaded up, NS_HW-8. Fuel system is Walbro 255 installed, had stock injectors (260cc) with an 8:1 fmu and pushin 6 psi to be safe, I have 370cc injectors waiting for me to learn Emanage and bump up more boost but its stock internals so until I get it profesionally tuned I'm not goin past about 8 or so.. T3 flange 53 trim turbo, was open downpipe but going to end up being three inch all the way back...:D
Hey dude from my understanding the hotwire for a n60 in ur 240 should be 4in/5out i had an n60 and thats what i ran. i forgot where i got that ratio from but if i remember correctly it ran better then the n62 hotwire. also why dont u slap on the 370s? there is a injector size option where u can put the size in. hope that helps
More info for ya brother (found it off the net)

I know it has the auto compensation but I have reverted everything to stock to figure out this MAF problem, I've even taken my buddy's N60 off his RUNNING car and put mine on his to be sure that I didn't have a bad MAF, My problem is the only thing I can modify is through the Profec E-01 because I don't have a consult cable anymore, if you can tell me which one of the NS_HW 1 through 11 or TY_HW1 through 5 settings in the profec is the 4 in 5 out that is what Accord2nrz was looking for (the list that associates MAFs or voltages and the NS/TY settings..) I really appreciate everyone's help with this BTW...

Aight.... good news/bad news... Thanks a LOT for the help and the car DOES run better, bad news the ONE time I took my car to a shop and asked them to do one simple little thing while I was at work is a little before this all started, Someone ripped the knock sensor wiring... the clip that hooks into the sensor has had the ground ripped out so now I have to source one of those but at least its a step in the right direction... it runs decent just sounds like its got a HUGE cam like my SOHC and stutters cause of the timing being back out so bad...
 what where they doing to get to that sensor? isnt that sensor right underneat the upper portion of the intake manifold? oh man if i can come across one ill be more then happy to send you one.

Called a buddy, got one, on its way right now...they were changing the PCV valve out, but they still shouldn't have been really near ther but I know for a fact I haven't been around there to snag wires.. good news/bad news... Car runs better BUT previous owner problem...wiring looks like it has been shorted out to the MAF (found a couple of heat melted cracks)... (never ending battle to fix other people's "mods") car wont run correctly with stock MAF or N60 which is making me think its wiring in between the ECU and MAF...so thats where I'm checkin now...

How many wires come out of the maf sensor? 3 ?
the car 3 but from what i recall the maf puts out 4 but 1 isnt needed. extra ground? if im not mistaken.

sometimes there is an extra ground however I would advise you to go ahead and get a shop manual (somtimes you can download one on rapidshare) if you dont have RS let me know and i'll try to get it for you then see if its an extra ground. If it is then go ahead and ground it out to provide extra electrical stability for your setup.
