emb software wont install

i had the 1,49 upgrade but not the 1.v1 and it was crashing, someone recommended that i needed the 1.1 first for it to work right. now i cant get the rar file to install rite it keeps crashin at the setup screen

1607 unable to install installshield scripting runtime

i did google the error followed the workaraounds still no luck

is there another way to install this software?

I've uploaded the original version of the Support Tool Software file for file as if it were on disk in zip format. Go to the downloads area and look under the tuning software category. You'll see it there. Download and then extract all the files.

Let me know how this works for you. After installing the original immediately install the 1.49

i just think my computer is messed up or ill jus go install it on another pc an see.


freaking hate vista

this isnt the only program it wont run.

the problem lies in the registry

i had to follow the procedures for the %appdata% not found error to get it to work

very cool! got it. It works fine on Vista. I've even had a friend install it on Windows 7 and its "All systems go!":D
