Alright! I am stoked to see that there is an active/live forum for the emanage as I've not found anything worth membership. This could be a beautiful beginning.

I know I need to satisfy the request of sites rules when posting an intro so here goes.

I live in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. The island also known as the Big Island. There might ba an occasional "Whoa Braddah!", but for the most part I do straight up English.;) There is a mega lack of any type of performance support on this side of the island and a little more, but still not much, 100 miles away on the other side. I'd still need a decent tune to even get there to have some other "crazy" try and tune my car. No dice! DIY comes as second nature to me and I think it is mainly because I live where resources are so scarce and pockets are shallow. haha.

I drive a somwhat modified 1993 Toyota Tercel. I am a member of forum called TercelOnline.com--where I also do some moderating. Here is my "Work In Progress" thread on that forum if anyone wants to see what has been done and current state of my car. Also these cars have next to nothing for aftermarket support so most eveything is DIY and JDM.

Hopefully my pics aren't oversized and if they are I can downsize them or if preferred just have a link to them only. I also understand that there is a certain RICE factor to my car but its my FIRST TIME!

This is my first car to get attention like this. Its pretty much 99% DIY action, and so it will be for the tuning as well. I've already started the process of installing turbo project components, but yesterday I hit a serious bump. The eBay exhaust manifold I bought for this turbo keeps the turbo tight to the block and that leaves no room for the downpipe. I'm currently deciding what to do, but in the meantime, I am going to install the emanage and all the gauges.

My only experience thus far, is the old SAFC that had 5 dials for setting fueling of 5 RPM intervals. I was going to tune with it for an "individual throttle bodies" project I was fabbing up, but got bit by the boost bug and have changed my focus. I did get that SAFC all working properly though.

I already purchased and have an Emanage Blue, with injector, ignition and Greddy MAP sensor. I also have Innovate LC-1 Wideband O2 and EGT kits to assist with tuning. I have been working on the car by day and reaserch of the emanage and wideband by night.

Stoked to have found and joined this sight. I have a couple questions that I will start a seperate thread for. Alohaz!

Welcome to the site! Is that a snail i see on the back end of that motor? Very nice and unique. it's the first forced induction tercel i've come across.

Thanks for the welcome. Actually, its just the "equal length runner" manifold. This is still N/A at the moment.

And that car forum I'm a member of there is a Terc doing 11's on the 1/4 and he's shooting for 10's this year. There are a bunch of other boosted Tercel's and Paseo's on that site.

I'm quite the active member on that site so I'm pretty sure once my eManage Blue(eB) is in I will have much more reason to interact here as well.

Also HERE (http://www.diytuning.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21) is the link to my first support request thread.;)

its not that ricey really, it actually looks pretty clean compared to ALOT of rice ive seen. just make sure u dont put a 747 wing, carbon fiber stickers, machine guns, rocket boosters, and an extremely wide body kit with skinny wheels on it and itl be fine :D (though if u had machine guns, i would let that pass...)

Awesome! Haha. We could use a few more emoticons huh?

Nah, I'm pretty much done on the aesthetics.

After I get the turbo squared away spending will have to chill as we are expecting parents--the wife and I.:D

But tuning I see will be for the life of the car as I tweak a little hear and a little there.
