Yo any one get pulled over lately? Here in cali where i live cops are pulling everyone over all of a sudden. I got pulled over on the freeway for speeding, tinted front windows, and blackedout tail lights. I know some other people who got pulled over and got cars taken away lol it sucks. Hows law enforcement everywhere else, any one?

Here they aren't too bad--on the island of Hawaii, in the state of Hawaii.:D

I see a lot of lifted trucks being pulled over.

My car is pretty chill. I try to do my modifications to a point that at first glance would look to be all dandy(legal).

For instance, my taillights I made them and when doing so I considered that all vehicles in the US must have some red reflector in the rear. That is why I opted not to use tinted round LED's but just used plain ol' red ones.

My tint is 5% in the rear window and the 2 small back windows but my two fronts are 20% and the stripe on the top of the windshield I believe is also 20%. As long as they can see me through the tint when I pass them I trust it is good with them.

Also, my car don't appreciate being lowered like your Honda's so that has led me to a somewhat moderate drop of 2" so not real obvious there.

I use a decently quieting muffler and just had a glasspack welded in. I'd like to get more quiet eventually, but we'll see.

Of course I could've gone extreme import racer status with all this stuff and some others, but I want to be able to drive my car and not have to be all paranoid. Sacrifice!

But yeah, it's chill here for the most part.

HA yea they started crushing cars that are heavly modified. Little modifications get impounded for 30 days. Yea a lot of people are gettin pulled over for lifted trucks here too. Yea i had 5% on the fornt windows lol so im gon prob tint em 35 % now lol. i have more 5% to redoem but i wont. Yea im paranoid to drive my crx any further then in town where i live lol cause i know it will get attention espically at night when i have my lights on you can see the deep blue halo rings ha ha. Yea my straight through exhaust is loud too but yea i do need to do some sacrifices. Yo accord2nrz dude did ya get my message bout the nopi whole sale pricing for website clubs?

i drive a semi-loud, fully kitted car that is lowered. im young.

i dont get pulled over.

why? becuase i OBEY THE LAW. follow the rules and 95% of the time you will be the guy driving by the cop that has someone else pulled over, instead of being the person pulled over.

People get their cars crushed for simply being modified? So if I were to do an engine swap (say V8) in my miata and it was a little too loud I could get my car crushed? Or are these multiple offenses street racers' cars that get crushed? Cali is starting to sound more and more like it needs to go into the ocean already...

the crushing is mostly due to street racing. there was a documentary on it at some pont. i dont remember when.

My wife and I were just pondering the street racing thing as there is a place out here where all the kinds do it--I was just invited:mad:. I think they should all be crushed.

yea i use to be that dumb young guy thinkin everyone was a racer ha ha but yea tahts stupid. I got caught racing once they take your pic the pictures of the cars and they show you videos and pictures of other car accidents from racing. That was when my car was less modified but now i dont even wana get caught cause i know it will get crushed since in the system. But yea cali is pretty strict and now even more strict especially for modifications because pretty much everything has to be smoged approved. Yea putting a v8 in the miata is possible but in cali you better put everything from pcm to smog equipment and cats that are on the vehicle that v8 is in lol. Thats cali for ya ha ha

Okay, maybe going into the ocean is a bit extreme, but I swear I never hear good things about California and cars. Sacramento is a pretty nice and clean place and far as cities go. I even got to shake the Governator's hand (I was part of a panel at an internet safety conference).

Yeah I used to race whenever I could, and I still drive a little quick once in a while, but I've really toned it down. Not worth the consequences at all. In fact, I will hopefully be going to the local drag strip this or next weekend for the first time (not sure if I can go w/o a roll bar yet) with some friends instead of cruising the ave.

While streetracing is foolish, the guys who go out to the countryside and block both ends of the road and run a couple times are okay in my book as long as they're only risking their lives.

yea i wasnt sure if ya had got the message accord2nrz i was like this nopi thing seems worth it if it works outs lol i order a lot of stuff from them especially when they have there clearance items cheap and shipping too not to expensive. Yea meshiax i calmed down too i drive reasonable now lol except for that day i got pulled over lol. I use to go to those street races where they block it off too but i seen accidents happen and everyone just jams kind of sad.
