Well everyone today was a milestone day for me. Some of you may know that I have been writing a fantasy book here in Iraq. Well it's nearing completion and moving into the editing phase. Today i signed up with a publisher, so the book will be available in hardback and softback, possibly even up for purchase on amazon.

Here is the brief synopsis for those who may be interested.
Almost ten thousand years ago to the day the great war of technology was fought by man nearly wiping him from the face of Enalia. The stories and knowledge of the art known as technology faded from the minds of men replaced by the ways of spell casting known as the arcane. During the anniversary year of the great war, the gods of Enalia clash against an old foe...six chosen are united to save Enalia from those who seek to revive the ancient ones known as machines, as a young man faces ascension to learn of his true past. A nation thought to be extinct returns to wage war against a world that has forgotten them. Amidst the conflicts in the heaves, the middle realms, and on enalia a clan of winged warriors must face their darkest fears as the world threatens to tear itself apart.

On July 19<SUP>th</SUP>, 2009 my book, “The Runes of Vathrin, by L.C. Cottner Jr” was published and its ISBN number sent to the major distribution networks (Amazon, Barnes N Nobles, etc...). The major networks will have the book available for purchase through their systems in 4 to 6 weeks. The cover price for both my store front and the major networks is $22.50. Since this is a first edition release I have no problem signing the first 100 copies to be purchased. If you wish to have an autographed copy then reply back with the previous information and put “Autographed” in the subject line. I will be doing a mass order and having the books shipped here to my base in Iraq where I will autograph them and mail them back out to you. If you are stationed in Iraq then a mass purchase is the best option as their system is currently having trouble with APO orders.

For those who are stateside, if you are able to pay using paypal I can have your book shipped to me, in which case I will autograph it and return it to you.
