The other day before going to racewars I was looking at a car.

It was Orange and had a carbon fiber hood. It originally came from Japan. Yeah thats right a JDM car but not just any car this was a myth a legend although this car is available in the a states A JDM version is alot nicer to have because it makes everybody jelous. because the want one soo bad.

Having never sat in this type of car I was kinda sceptical of even thinking about getting it. Because if it doesn't feel right you can't be comfortable and if your not comfortable you can't really drive the car to it's full potential.

OH yeah I forgot to tell you what kind of car it was. how forget full of me.
RHD MK IV Toyota Supra non Turbo (It didn't need it)

Here are some pics of her.

Not as hard as people say to drive on the right side of the car. I took to it right away.

Oh yeah I didn't mention that either OMG this car is freaking sweet I'm think about getting one and shipping it home as a show car.(limited milage the reason why alot of really nice cars are trailed to car shows) but im prolly gonna go with a stock non turbo one like the red on in the pic above(the red one is an auto yuck)

I thought there was an issue with safety equipment on some jdm vehicles, that's why it was hard to get r32 skylines and such to the states without conversion places like MotoRex that would sell r34s for like 100k.

Oh boy! Get one!

BTW, Neon, what's the deal with no bike for 2 years or is there another thread explaining that.

In germany i think that's about the time it takes to get a license for a motorcycle. As for the JDM cars, the biggest deal with them is the material the windshield is made out of and emissions stuffs. never really heard anything else safety related on JDM cars.

That's what I meant, the glass was an issue because i don't think it's safety rated to be accepted in the U.S and the need for the emission equipment makes it pricey to convert it to U.S safety and emission standards. I heard you can get bmws way cheaper in germany as well and it's the same case there getting the cars over here.

The guy that sells them ships them from Japan to the UK while they are in the UK he changes out the windshield to eurpean spec which is better than the US saftey wise. The problem is with the headlights being glass, supports in the doors incase of an impact, the fact that in america you would be on the wrong side of the car. But if you ship in as a show car you are limited to around 2500 miles a year.

But again if you buy a seperate ECU you can bypass that too by plugging one in for inspection and having the other for you to play with :D

But i;m trying to savee up for the divorce thing is killing my budget.

as for the motorcycle license I have to drop 500euro almost 800usd for the Basic Riders Couse and then I have to drop close to 1500 to fly back to the states twice to get my stateside license then I can finally get my Endorsment over here and thats only if everything above happens at the right time. (which it doesn't) so gonna wait till I get back to the states before I even worry about getting a bike.

I'm unsure the next time I drive by there I'll check for you guys maybe shoot some pics. I also have some links to some legit RHD car sales places that ship to Canada and the US.

If I remember I'll post them the next time I'm on.
