well, ive finally boosted my 240 and after about four or five days of trouble shooting problems...im at a loss.
my car as of right this minute sits on a dyno waiting to be tuned. previous attempts over the last two days have not been what i could even call successful. two problems are unresolved:

1: i installed my emanage blue and all seemed to be working correctly. a couple weeks later i installed the turbo and car still runs fine. BUT, when the person i have tuning my car tries to make any adjustment to fuel...it does nothing. as if the injectors are not responding. a/f ratios are staying waaaayyy too lean...ive been over my wiring personally and it was looked over again today by someone else. all seems correct....minus the unresponsiveness. any suggestions??

2: while accelerating on the dyno, the rpm will jump to say..7600. not the car just the readout in the emanage software. it seems to skip around on the rpms instead of settling into a curve or line (as im told it should). again wiring seemed to be correct...but any ideas?

ive lucked up and been introduced to a shop with tons of knowledge and experience with performance vehicles. ive essentially been working in the shop and am receiving this tune at no cost to me, but at this point im just ready to get out of their way. (as well as drive my car) any suggestions are welcome.

thanks

nate

Is the emanage brand new or used? If it is used, it could be damaged. Hopefully this is not the case but one thing I learned is when buying electronics like engine managements and such it is better to get them brand new, that way you know for sure the condition. Is the tuner using your laptop to tune or their own software, I would check to make sure the tuner has the correct version of the software, for example if they are using the version that came on the cd versus v1.49. Also check the communication light to see if it throwing any fault codes.

i bought the emanage "second hand", but i will say it came out of a working car.
im not sure of the software ill be sure to check with them tomorrow. im assuming we need to be using v1.49 correct? i also check the comm. light.
thanks for the info. this seems to be the only thing holding my car up right now and its driving me nuts. hope its not the emanage, but if it is...guess im buying a new one. any other ideas are welcome as well. again thanks maxgtr

alright,

good news. my tuner offered the suggestion to check my injector ground for my emanage..he looked over the wires and what do you know...i apparently walked right past that one. he wired it up and all is functional. still need to check my rpm connections because they are getting some wild numbers still.
going to check that in the morning. also going to recirculate my bov, its wanting to stall out when you get off the throttle. My afpr is starting to malfunction as well so i def. need to look into that. he said it started to lean out a good bit.
ill def repost when i get some numbers in, but he did tell me it pulled 202 at the wheels when he was getting my a/f numbers corrected...sounds like a week of waiting may very well be worth every minute.

You can just activate the antistall map in the parameter section of the support tool and set the anti stall if it would be easier than recirculating the bov. It just takes a little bit of time to set it.

Sorry to thread jack, but can someone post up a pic of their anti engine stall map and brief writeup on how to set it up? A new thread would be choice for it too.

me and my tuner spoke for a little while about the anti stall and said he hadnt had much luck with it on vehicles in the past. i'd def like to hear more about it. fluttering throttle at lights and stop signs gets old...but....car is officially done.
212 on a dynodyamics. such a pleasure to drive now. first day out a tiburon thought he wanted to race. he screeched.....i didnt...i let the open dump tell him whats up.

but def. new thread for the anti stall

sc'ed tiburon huh....from the sound of it...just might have me on that one. but i always enjoy the competition..haha. im really curious about this anti stall...cause using heel/toe is getting kinda old...but then again...once im in second and hit boost....i forget about it. :D
